An infrastructure accelerator, Brickstone Africa, has excellent capabilities in the appraisal, advisory, and project development of major industrial, as well as infrastructure, projects in Africa. During the whole process of building capital-intensive projects, Brickstone’s early-stage project development capabilities are applicable, but with the aim of maintaining profitability and preserving its long-term asset value for sponsors.
When Femi Awofala founded Brickstone Africa in 2009, it was intended to serve as a real estate advisory company. However, with the help of a team of experts with extensive commercial and financial management knowledge, the company has since transformed into an early-stage infrastructure accelerator. This experience includes locating, developing, concluding, and delivering equity, project/corporate finance, and other contractual structures for significant infrastructure projects in Sub-Saharan Africa.
