JAMB releases 2019 admission cut-off mark

JAMB Latest Result Checker 2021 portal now open. Check you scores via the JAMB UTME Exam Result Checker 2021 today. The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Tuesday approved 160 as the minimum cut off mark for 2019 admission into public universities.

The decision was reached at the 19th policy meeting on admissions to tertiary institutions, which held at the Bola Babalakin Auditorium, Gbongan, Osun State.

The board also approved 140 as minimum JAMB UTME score for admission into private universities while 120 was set for public polytechnic and 110 scores were approved as the least score for admission into private polytechnic.

About 1,886,508 candidates registered for the exams in and outside of Nigeria.

“Out of this number, which excludes the Direct Entry candidates, 59,667 were absent. A total of 1,826,839 sat the UTME,” JAMB registrar Ishaq Oloyede said in Abuja in May.

1,792,719 candidates result were released while 34,120 results were withheld including the results of 15,145 candidates being further clarified as identical twins and siblings.
