Recruitment is currently ongoing to fill the following vacancy:

Job Title: Driver

Ref: IITA-HR-NRS2022-028
Location: Kano
Recruitment Type: National (3-year renewable contract)

Duties

  • Drive vehicles within and outside the duty station.
  • Record trip details in the vehicle logbook and carry out routine maintenance checks.
  • Ensure vehicles are well maintained and clean.
  • Liaise with the workshop staff to ensure prompt servicing of vehicles as at when due.
  • Ensure courteous and prompt attention to passengers’ needs while being conveyed.
  • Ensure the safety of the vehicle and passengers’ property.
  • Perform any other jobrelated task as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications

  • O’level with a minimum of four (4) years experience performing a similar role in a well structured environment with a valid driver’s license.

Competencies:
The ideal candidate must:

  • Have good communication skills (writing, reading, and speaking).
  • Have the ability to work with minimum supervision and good driving skills.
  • Have the ability to drive any type of vehicle (car, bus, truck).
